What happens next?

Our Director of Learning will contact you to begin the transition into preschool. Children’s concept of time is more fluid than an adults so we plan many events close to the first day to assist a smooth transition.

Pre-service includes:

1. Family visit to the classroom to meet the guides, introduce your child, and get a insight into your child’s day.
2. New student play dates with the classroom to introduce parents and children to each other. These play dates are usually during August.
3. Back to School night in August for parents to meet the teacher, get the learning objectives for the year, and learn more about the classroom operations.
4. Ready, Set, Go! Workshop with Bethany Prescott, who will walk you through the logistics of an emotionally supportive drop-offs, pick ups, and help you get set for the big first day.

Every child experiences the transition into preschool differently. We work diligently to provide the most supportive transitions possible.
